  • Live performances present unique challenges to the Recording Process but the result makes it all worth it. The environment created by the performers and audience facilitate, in my opinion, a recording of unrivaled energy, depth, and interest.

  • Currently, I operate on a ‘By Project’ pay rate. I work until you are happy…period. No additional fees.

  • No! Classical Music is my first love but I enjoy working in all genres, especially in Live settings. I also work regularly as a FOH Engineer, Broadcast Engineer, Monitor Engineer, and Technical Director. I do not tour.

  • I typically utilize PCM BWAV Recording at 96kHz - 24bit unless otherwise requested by the client. My mobile recording rig accommodates up to 16 Channels @ DSD/DXD, 32 Channels @ 96kHz/32bit or 64 Channels @ 48kHz/32bit.

    My mobile recording rig is Power and Data Redundant. I utilize multiple Dante NICs, Network Switches, and High Capacity APC UPS Units to ensure that we keep recording regardless of environmental factors.

    I utilize a combination of DPA, Neumann and sE Microphones, depending on the project.

    For live sound mixing, I carry an Allen and Heath SQ5 with 64x64 Dante connectivity and 128x128 SLink connectivity. I am comfortable mixing on most varieties of Yamaha, Midas, Behringer, Allen & Heath, and DigiCo consoles.

    I am able to accommodate most specific equipment requests via rentals.

  • I utilize Pyramix, Pro Tools and WaveLab depending on the project. For video work, I operate primarily in DaVinci Resolve.

  • While I do not currently own a recording or performance space, I am able to arrange for the use of a variety of venues in and around Nashville TN to fit the needs of your project.

  • While I am not a musical contractor by trade, I am in contact with multiple industry professionals capable of assembling a team of musicians to meet your needs. No finder fees.

  • Typically, I do. As someone who understands the important of collaborative experiences and the cost prohibitive nature of Music in School, I do take Student Status into account when pricing projects.
